21η πιο έξυπνη πόλη του κόσμου το Ηράκλειο Κρήτης!

Ο οργανισμός Intelligent Communities Forum (ICF) με έδρα τη Νέα Υόρκη συμπεριέλαβε στη λίστα με τις 21 «πιο έξυπνες πόλεις του κόσμου» για το 2011 το Ηράκλειο της Κρήτης. Μάλιστα, το Ηράκλειο ήταν μόλις μία από τις τέσσερις ευρωπαϊκές πόλεις στη λίστα.

Η ανακοίνωση της φετινής λίστας πραγματοποιήθηκε την Παρασκευή (21/10) από το συνιδρυτή του ICF Λουί Ζακαρίλα στο Αϊντχόβεν, ενώ η αξιολόγηση έγινε με βάση την ύπαρξη αστικού οικοσυστήματος καινοτομίας στον τομέα της πληροφορικής και των επικοινωνιών.

Fixation point is point where the eye stayed for a short while. Saccadic move is the fast movement of the eye from one fixation point to the next.

 
3. Are the results accurate?

Yes. The results delivered by this research are measurable, scientifically proven and are not affected by physiological factors (as is the case with the use of questionnaires). In addition, it can deliver statistical analysis and specific results, contrary to the traditional-conventional methods of quality evaluation.  The most important asset is that it mirrors accurately focal areas of interest of the user’s eyes.

 
4. How many Eye Trackers does Optotech own?

Two. Optotech owns two eye-trackers: a mobile one (Mobile Eye) which can be used even in outdoor measurements, and a static one (Head Mount) which gives us the opportunity to record the eye movement in detail and in a broader spectrum of applications.
